♥ LPEP for FROSHIES
The two-day orientation really helped me to bring out the Lasallian spirit in me,
to be comfortable with my new home, and to get to know my blockmates and
meet new friends!
at the auditorium for the opening program.
The performers taught us the Lasallian Prayers thru a song (i think) which is more like what they do in Baptist Chruches :)
The Lasallian Hymn
I love the song that they taught usJesus in our Hearts
So, once we were told, "Go,
forth, spread the word and prclaim it!" Of the goodness of
our God and how, how His Love alleviates.
Chorus 1:
Now we're here, now we have gathered
and these sees they must be scatterd
From here on we resolve to fulfill our calling
Let Jesus live in our hearts.
So, they say you and me we've all been trapped in apathy
Let's make it our goal to show
them the love in our hearts
that sets us free.
Chorus 2:
Now we're here, one family together
with one goal, to look out for each other.
We've been lost, gone astray but there's one sure way...
when Jesus lives in our hearts.
Live Jesus in our hearts!
Nakalimutan kong sabihin, late ako. Kaya nahuli kami (kasama ko si Arvin) papuntang auditorium with block 85 :)
The Dean of COE, an Engineering Student, Student Council president and a Brother gave us there warm welcome to the Lasallian Family.
Various groups like La Salle's choir (i dunno what they're called) other dance groups
Various groups like La Salle's choir (i dunno what they're called) other dance groups performed to promote and to give us a peek about there organizations.)
First Day Activities
I'm Block 84
The getting to know activity with my classmates helped a LOT.
Hey! mike, katrina, kaye, maryll, nicole, donna and grace! and marc also :)
Lecture with our proctor, Mam Helen! (ok, we all went to sleep in this discussion. haha. sorry mam! Busog kasi eh :)
Mam Helen gave us 7 bookmarks, and this activity is called Pito-Pito (wow, I still remembered!) This activity is all about St. John De Baptist De La Salle's Life
Then at last! My most awaited, CAMPUS TOUR!
Well, ang tadandaan ko lang, the CATWALK or pansinin walk, the former COE building, and the engineering gate! haha :)
My first mass at La Salle and Lasallian Oath
Lecture again with Mam Helen about computations of GPA (not so boring na)
Lecture about student discipline by the DO~ gosh, ang daming rules!
No PDA :)) but they call it differently at LS
May dress code na din! Sandals/slippers should have sling-backs, wedges are not allowed, dapat heels lang with at least...errm. nakalimutan ko na ung taas.
No playing of cards (even UNO!!) and other games that involves money, Playing gambling in the internet is blocked (even the game poker in facebook ata :)

and the rules go on....
Campus tour ~ outside building of DLSU.
Ang pag-iikot at pagkuha ng FREEBIES sa mga student orgs! Kakatuwa ang mga kuya at ate namin :)) may mga strategies sila to catch the eye of froshies :)

awarding of prizes sponsored by chromosomes, havaianas, reyes barbecue, and fab. One of our blockmate won the robo tshirt by fab! Nice one KAITU! :)
Hindi kami napili sa contest ng FAB eh. Pinakamagandang tagline ng block.pero here's our tagline
sports orgs promoted their own group. I want to be a LADY SPIKER! kaso nakakahiya naman because we don't have a volleyball varsity in our school, so I'm not a volleyball player in HS. I guess, I'll just watch them in the UAAP :(
the pep squad taught us La Salle's various cheers to bring out the Lasallian spirit in us! at enjoy ako sa cheering part! grabe! It's like we were watching the DLSU in UAAP! goshhh :)
My fave is the WILD THING!

And never shall we fail,
Hail to thee our Alma Mater!
